Viatel is Ireland’s leading independent provider of complete solutions for businesses connectivity, cloud and security requirements. Their mission is to make these solutions simple to use and ensure rapid value from their capabilities.

We were tasked with helping Viatel develop its own unique voice and visual language which better reflected its positioning as a industry leader. This was achieved through the creation of an entirely new visual identity and website focused on the idea of connectivity.

Our role was to rebrand and reinvigorate the Viatel business – to represent them in a manner which is fitting for that of communications company operating at the forefront of technology.


The starting point of the rebrand was to develop a new logo which represents the business in a unique and meaningful manner. We achieved this by using four V’s to represent each of their key solutions – Combined and rotated for a less literal, more ambiguous aesthetic.

From stationery to press adverts, in-house operational documents to technical literature, we oversaw and managed all aspects of the rebrand, helping Viatel develop a new personality, and a new voice. This was also then carried through to to digital, web and promotional videos.
